Daniel Vézina was born
in Montreal in 1961. Playing drums is something that goes back as early as
he can remember. At the age of 8, he was playing drum beats with his
pencils on his school desk. At 12, he was playing "Aquarius / Let the sunshine
in" with a "big band".
Later on, Daniel was
joined many "cover bands" playing in bars, discos and corporate
events all across Quebec and eastern Canada.
He was also the
drummer of the Pop-Rock francophone band "Revolver" signed
to Isba
/ Sony Music. The band had two hit singles and two videoclips playing
frequently at Musique-Plus.
Since 2004, Daniel has studied at the KoSA Academy in Montreal under Aldo Mazza. Since his
return from Los Angeles this year, he is promotion agent for the KoSA 11 - DVD on
Hudson music. This instructional DVD is distributed internationally by Hal Leonard.
Being a freelance
musician, he is now performing with many blues and rock artists.
